Let’s start with AR staff is being lied to by UHC no surprise. Being told staff will be redeployed to jobs that meet their qualifications. Only to then be moved to customer service positions, when this isn’t at all like AR. I have worked AR for over 20 years, but now want to use my skills to make phone calls to talk people into other insurance plans??? How is this AR? Oh and hours of work now change too?? Being told take it or you are considered resigned and not eligible for unemployment. Isn’t this creating a hostile workplace environment?? Department of Labor will be made aware of the dishonest and corrupt practices taking place at UHG. No one is safe.

So going from accounting to used car salesmen? Yup sounds about right, meaning another example of how clueless the decision makers are in terms of what skills people have that translate into a position. Look at many of the leaders who were promoted. Oh you know how to read and write and your friends with the big guy? Perfect, here is a team for you to lead on a subject you know nothing about.

In a nutshell, this org unethical practices spanned across decades. Over $billions being paid in fines, yet legislators allowed to continue to acquire competitors. If you are truly a journalist and not “paid” by this org, you will take the time to read and gather the info.
RIFs were carried out by waves to avoid WARN act or severance pay out.. sad !!
