All contracts will terminate. No exceptions. That’s your trick and treat from candy guy.

Apparently any on shore contractors from un approved vendors will end latest by year end. Work will transfer to off shore contractors. I guess that’s what OP meant.
What does SWE with OCM mean? And what do you mean by All contracts will terminate? Please explain.
It’s all offshore contractors from approved companies. No one will be spared. King needs his bonus.
Got my layoff notice this week.
SWE with OCM, replaced with offshore contractors.
When the corporate leaders are inexperienced and cronyism is rampant, bad decisions are made. With all the other silly sh-t that goes on in MN, it really is only a matter of time before the results of contract and offshore vocationally trained workers comes home to roost. The sad fact is that insurance is a cash cow and that’s how Optum has gotten by with their incompetence and that is how this mega-corporation will continue! Well they won’t get any more money from me or anyone I can influence but now seems I can’t go to Humana either, somebody wake up the DOJ antitrust division!
Here is so called “strategic” approach - bring in contractors to augment FTEs. They are easy to rid off without paying severance/PTO. Bring in Wipro (or any other offshore competitors) for cheaper labor, have them get KT and document the SOP. Next steps- fantasy world of AI automation.
When the “leadership” is accustomed to get by without attention to details, the above playbook is a repeatable model everywhere they go. Amazingly! They get rewarded handsomely .. sad
The definition of “well connected” comes after those in charge the need to follow orders and CYA as their highest priority.
Look at the stocks performance and reviews on current state. Everyone is buying time!!
No one is safe ..
Well I'm disappointed in my boss. Guess he wasn't well connected. They let my contract lapse a few weeks ago, so it worked out for them. While there are (few) exceptions, Wipro cannot do the job properly, but it looks good on paper so C-levels can reap a reward while the time bo-b of cr-p quality ticks away. Just like Neil, they'll get theirs at the expense of patients, providers, and employees alike.
The original target date of “elimination” was slated for end of September. Now by end of December. Heard both on-site and remote unless you are “well connected” then you could be “absorbed” by one of the “approved” vendors/agencies, AKA cheaper labor.
Everything ends eventually. Got any dates?
