Anybody get an offer who is fully remote?

I received my offer letter today and it mentioned that i'm a remote employee but if my office is within 50 miles (mine is 35 miles) you may be required to work on site. i am so confused. Does that mean i am a remote worker or not a remote worker ?!!

Who wants to work in PE sweatshop? Not me, I’d like to avoid my soul being crushed with a 3hr commute even if I take 1/2 my salary.

I’m now remote, the new offer says I’m still remote, but may require to go to a site if I’m within 50 miles of an office. So basically no final decision.

I’m fully remote and there is a Broadcom office within 50 miles. But I’ll be the only one from engg in the entire state! So I must now drive into an office and zoom from there. Crazy af.
I got a FT offer that is fully remote. The Welcome Letter said that if I live within 50 miles of a VMware or a Broadcom facility, I would be expected to work on site. But I don't, so I got a remote work location.

Yes. Transition offer but remaining remote during that time. But I was hired as remote originally. Others I have heard have not been so lucky if they are close to an office.
