They can’t bump apprentices somewhere else
That’s everywhere through out the system everyone’s moral is bad. Everyone is just kind of going through the process. It’s back to 2019 when psr began. I tell the young guys to find another place to work. It’s never going to get any better here what do ever.
North platte abolished 8 weekend jobs put them up as Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday and I believe whedensday Thursday off as told by a man. They are back to only fixing what is broke and hardly any maintenance no overtime Monday thru Thursday and only Friday Saturday Sunday I have not seen morale so bad in 20 some years bottom line unsafe equipment is being pushed out and ran north plattte so under staffed they cannot effectively repair the locomotives as needed yes back to same old when fra blitzed them
There's 9 MIC machinists there as well. Total of 13

No they just took away 9 jobs. 5 Carman left 2 for the rip 1 for the yard on days. 1 on afternoon shift and 1 for nights
