Why no seasonal AST positions??

I notice there has not been any seasonal AST positions at stores. I assume they feel they are not needed. AST in most stores is not staffed well with barely any coverage.

Do you mean AYS? We didn't get any AYS. Most stores get an onboarding champion to help AST .

I never hire a seasonal AST because my current team only gets 20 hours so I would flex up their hours. Maybe this is a reason on top of them not having the knowledge they need as the previous post describes. Another reason why I would not hire.

No seasonal hiring? By whom?

As a former AST, the job requires you to know so many esoteric details that it's not worth trying to teach someone new. By the time they're independent, it's already the next holiday season. Do a schedule audit to rat out the manager going over budget. Contact EEV about an I9 document you've never seen in your life. Check OVSLOC for the missing bag. Make an emergency order to Bunzl--didn't you check the delivery schedule? Not worth it.
