Stupid is as stupid does! Let’s make a huge decision based on an external consultant and exclude critical thinking from the leadership that actually runs the teams in this space. Great plan JB! One group I don’t see mentioned often is National Ops. I think 80-90 percent of that team is in Canonsburg. Good luck stitching all of this back together. How deep do they think the talent pool is in Houston. Rarely have I seen top candidates applying from that area. I suspect those who move will be overwhelmed trying to hold that ship together.

They are not relocating 1300 employees. That's obvious. They know nowhere that number will take it. Look at how pathetic the offer is. Which isn't even being offered to 1300.
They're relocating 1300 "positions" of which they have no intention of filling a majority.
It's just a prettier spin on another mass layoff.
Totally agree. As they praised Crown as a great place to work (except for you) they even said they don’t have enough space in Houston. But heck if you can write a book about how work works you must know better than the people that actually do the work. A complete Clown show. Every big decision since JB has taken charge( I say taken charge loosely ) has been a step forward in a death march ki-ling the once great culture we all loved.
This is such a recipe for disaster. Are the investors actually buying this?
Making a public plan to "move" 1300 employees to an office that doesn't have nearly enough seats. This story sounds very familiar to a movie i watched once where there weren't enough boats.
Love me some shrimps
Agree- no more remote positions. No exceptions!
What ever direction employees decide to go it will be very impacting at all levels to their lives.
Will the tenured VPs and Directors have to feel this pain? There should be zero remote positions if Canonsburg folks are forced to Relo…No more Remote Positions!!!!
Lower and middle management will take the brunt of this without a doubt!
