Heads up for those considering a move to Texas. Your relo package will be paid in RSU’s and not cash, meaning you front your move and maybe able to get repaid after 12 months from your relo date once it’s vests.

My new company is paying $2k towards housing, my movers, my storage unit, food and gas for moving day and a few other things like supplies. Totals to about $10k because I don't need airfare, rental cars, etc.
It’s true. I received my offer yesterday. Percentage of award is based on pay grade.
