More uncertainty & more Impacts on the business

Whether the acquisition goes through or not, it appears that this company is doomed and in significant trouble. Just read what competitors are saying. Actively looking at this stage :(

Barron's assessment explains why institutional investors have been dumping the VMW stock. Will more stock dumping be likely next week? We'll have to wait and see.

"The implied odds of the deal closing are about 50%, Barron’s calculates based on nearly $30 a share in potential upside to VMware stock if the deal gets done and an estimated $30 a share of downside if the deal falls apart."

Does this mean if the deal fails the VMW stock could settle at ~$110 per share?

The deal will fail. BC has no way to get through China's objections. China is trying to ruin the deal with a reason.

Hundreds of thousands of customers who can be VCF+PAI customers very easily. VMW is poised to be successful in spite of layoffs and an acquisition that can go either way.

Maybe clüsterfücked is a more appropriate description?

"Doomed" is the most ridiculous thing I've read this morning. But it's early and I'm just getting started.

Relax! Just one more week to go. It will happen! HT can’t risk to lose face.
