This is hilarious, like an abused spouse, they take away your colleagues, lie to you, take away your “house” then we are supposed to trust them to move to Houston?! What on God’s green earth do you think will happen if you do this. Don’t be a fool, time to cut and run from this CLOWN CASTLE of abuse and LIES. These good “Christians” are going to have the Karma they created come back to them in spades.

4500 in the company? More like 3942 people. That is the number showing in our active directory.
They don’t want you to move to Houston. They want you to choose to leave so that they can give your PA, NY, Cali, wherever wage job to someone in Texas for ten dollars and 30 IQ points less per hour.
Don’t forget an 8% new mortgage or sky high rent. I would bet less than 15-20% take the move so they are in essence laying off another 1100, approximately 25% of the remaining 4500 at the company.

You would be an absolute fool to move to Houston unless you get something in writing regarding job security (like a year to year guranteed contract).
Let’s get radically honest, the relo is just a thinly veiled layoff, ultra sc-mmy dirt bag move many other failing companies have done in the past. How many times do you see successful companies come back after they pull these types of shenanigans on their workforce? Virtually none, and believe me, JB is no Lee Iacocca. No idea how this EMT sleeps at night crying into their piles of money, greed is unequivocally their powerlust.
It certainly is a decision factor for a lot of folks facing the option to move to Houston. What is stopping Crown from continuing to purge good people after they move? Now you are in a new city you never wanted to live in and no job. If I was asked to move to Houston, I would always be looking over my shoulder asking "am I safe?"
