Thread regarding VMware layoffs

Imagine we had a way to get back at the companies forcing us to wait without any insight

This acquisition is just hectic and dead at the same time. Dead when it comes to info, hectic when it comes to sorting out mitigation for possible outcomes.
The worst part is there's nothing we can do other than leave to get them back for the lack of empathy and news for staff.

But imagine, imagine we 30k employees just managed to up and leave right now. Nope won't happen but just imagine the sheer chaos it would cause for the LT driving the acquisition.

I’m doing my bit, I’m routinely lying to customers by making commitments that I have no right to make that could cost customers millions. Broadcom can enjoy dealing with angry customer me come demanding compensation. I’ll be gone by then.

But it's always a good idea to generate a plan B and C, to create more options for yourself. Send out some resumes. Especially if you have a family, it's almost irresponsible not to have a contingency plan.
