To the previous poster, general ledger accounting has nothing to do with your paycheck.
I’m glad it is now required. Last December was a joke with people not getting their paychecks and everyone in accounting off for the holidays while employees scrambled to pay their mortgages.
Shouldn't the Accounting dept be in office 5 days a week? If you were, then you shouldn't be called to come in over the weekend. My $.02
How is that toxic? I thought that was just part of being in accounting....
Sounds like the OP needs to look at other lines of work.
They have to work OT to make the numbers look good! Citrix was always good at cooking the books to make ARR look better than it was.
