sales team is a joke at least for west coast and southern cal -- all talk, no output. account team in place are long-term and don't know how to effectively grow business (too traditional, super risk averse). overall management team doesn't understand how to nurture relationships as i saw us losing a lot of RFPs because the intake team didnt do a good job of aligning with the [potential] client.
people getting laid off even when 50-100% utilized on a client! no notice. usually morning off with access cut off when the phone call ends or by end of that same day. severance is nothing amazing -- traditional 1 month per 1 year of service.
EPAM has been laying off people all year. North America Digital Engagemeny Practice is a sh-t show and being run by a clown and surrounded by yes men/women.
And they wanted to enforce non compete after laying you off. They are crooks
Yeah I just got the boot and it was a layoff. Im glad I at least got severance.
I work there now. They are desperate for revenue. They're getting rid of under performers and folks on the bench. They've had their third downward revision and earnings. They have never had a down year and don't know how to react. They have no marketing or sales to grow the company. Not a fun place
