That would be why there is no text box, to state what you really think. Of course, a text box to state what you really think would be better than the metrics they gather from a Pulse survey.

I don't believe they are anonymous either. I take the suggestion that they are as a pinch of salt. What use is survey if they cannot identify those who score the place poorly?

They would either want to rectify or take the easy option and punish whoever scored them poorly.

But hey, at least here you can say what you really think and without consequence.

Management can only improve if they have ability to take on board constructive criticisms and take ownership of problems that exist.

I don't know what part of the Company IT policy wrt using company property and systems, and an employee should not have ANY expectations of privacy, is confusing. IT can get to anything you write/type and anything you say, in Outlook, Teams, your company Google account, every website you've visited, every keystroke you make using their company issued cell phones and computers. Maybe if you used your own personal phone, offsite (not using their internet), or using your personal computer at home through your own internet, typing in the site link manually into your browser, using a DDG or private briwser session, would be safer for anonymity. I didn't respond to the 10 survey reminders because I don't care enough to go through privacy hoops to tell them what they already know: The place is a p-o- show, all day, everyday, everywhere and anywhere CS hangs its flag.

I laughed when I saw one of the questions was something along the lines of "I enjoy working with my team and am proud to work for CommScope". They're two very separate questions, and under current conditions definitely have very different answers, but the sl--eballs who wrote the survey package those questions together to skew the result towards the answer they wanted. All that did was force me to answer negatively. I'm ashamed to work for CommScope. I hate this company more than I like my immediate team and I hate the self-serving dirtbags who have run it into the ground while they line their own pockets. I'll be leaving in the new year.

It’s anonymous. The company would be skewered for lying to employees about providing an anonymous survey if it wasn’t. Same with all companies - they outsource the data collection. When an employee writes something their boss may recognize, that’s their fault.

they are not anonymous. a few years ago, our department had a sit-down with the department head to go over all the feedback and it was very obvious who submitted what

You are better to pack stuffs and find a new job. Business computers record all single words typing. Yes, your name is Anonymous, they do not lie, but it followed with your username, IP and MAC address when submission. Do they tell you not trackable?! Friends of mine working there had the same trouble as yours with honesty. This is pesdo-democracy.

I really wouldn't worry, if you can justify your scoring poor management needs calling out. I'm just disappointed there wasn't a free text box to let them know what I really think

They're anonymous if they are good, but not if they are bad.

I don't think it's anonymous because I remember that once I forwarded the survey to a coworker and on the same day, I received an email stating that the links were unique and that we shouldn't forward them. Upon checking the link, I noticed that they have an embeded ID. So, if that ID was sent only to you, then it's not anonymous because you are identifiable by matching the ID with the email to.
