Continual layoffs and the constant fear of being laid off.
Now THAT is a company culture everyone wants!
Now I just need to start sabotaging my peers and get all the RSUs I can.
I’m coming for you Vmware crybabies, I’m coming for you.
Welcome to Broadcom.

And you think you will not get axed. coz you know how to kiss @$$?
I hope all the crybabies like you spreading FUD are the first to get the axe.
the first cull is over. Many more to come. If you get hit the second round, your severance will be based on the new base pay, which may be lower than your VMware salary. All your RSUs disappear. But heck, what do I know... BC might be real generous,
A lot of layoffs coming in the months and years ahead. Nothing different about this transaction than any other. Chop til you drop. That’s what they do.
ummm.... that is what one would have expected. Nothing new here.
About the right dollar amount to account for layoff packages for 13,000 US employees assuming the package equals about a half year's salary. Much more when factoring in the number of layoffs abroad.
That’s why I have declined my FT offer with BC. They say judge someone not by what they say but what they do. Over the last 18mths I feel we’ve been naively believed what HT said this acquisition will be different from previous ones and he said on all hands with our then leadership team that he respects our culture. Time for a reality check and I’d be a fool to fall for his empty lies second time after seeing what’s been happening since the official close. I’m very pleased that I had gathered the courage and followed my heart to say no even without landing a new job yet.
Ouch. Could mean anything though.
