Insider news for transitioners not coming to office

Transition employees will be fired with no severance, if they do not return to office.
Seems like Broadcom would like to eliminate these soon.
Stay at home is against Hock Tan's mantra for success..

VMware Severance package has to be paid my BC for the next 18 months to employees laid off. Best case would be to get laid off, collect the severance and then land a job with the new EUC or CB company. Milk the Hock cow real good.

Ya this is BS. If your letter says remote you're remote. Transition people didn't have the same "may have to RTO" like full time employees. Get out of here.

Broadcom management has doubts on VMware employees.
If the salary is going to fictitious accounts in the name of transition employees, they better show up.

This wouldn't surprise me. Not long term keepers. Save severance. Set an example.
