The unions only care about getting more members to pay dues, not about individual members or working conditions. When a big issue comes up they’re always the first to throw you under the bus! I understand the need for unions having worked here for 25 years, but I know the unions are not your friend!
The union is as bad as the company. No one is on your side these days, they both want something from you!

I don't hate unions, they actually helped me out when company was screwing me over. Had we not have a union, my time claim would of went straight into trash. I took awhile to get it, but still got it.
Do you know when to use a and when to use an?
