Will there be more US layoffs in 2023 or early 2024?
If so, what site location(s) should be updating their resumes?

New Jersey, Michigan, Virginia and Kentucky are probably in the short list for layoff this year. Jobs are moving to Mexico.
The question that should be asked annually at Emerson is "will this be a year we won't have layoffs?"
Layoffs are the default.
For sure there will be layoffs. Only way LK and RK can give themselves 10 & 12% raises respectively when the rest get 3% avg. Yet they wonder why the YVC score is so low...
Next layoff planned in end of March 2024.
“My plan is to do as little as possible while collecting my obscenely large salary”
“Emerson” and “large salary” are an oxymoron
Must have a lot of years at Emerson... their standard severance is a weeks pay for every year of service.
“ My plan is to do as little as possible while collecting my obscenely large salary…” Iarge salary? I know you don’t work at either NI or EMR.
When I ruin this new segment, I get a $6M golden parachute.
Since EMR bought that NI clown show, there will be layoffs every quarter. Get out while you still can. Enjoy your new reality NI kids. Go Boldly Ambitiously or something.
