Folks complain about the taxes have no idea how they work. Go to a decent tax advisor and they’ll confirm.
Bilateral agreements, etc. Search and read. It’s all in the www.

Been on call with Etrade for 1h:

  1. "all November shares were transfered to different company, speak to broadcom"
  2. "I have been taxed on Divident, I am not US citizen" "but you work for US company" - no, I work for NON US entity" - "well shares are for US company so we paid divident to IRS, doesnt matter if you have W8 form saying you are non US" - lady doesnt understand how tax treaties work, neither Etrade

Any idea if previous employees vested RSU’s are ever going to appear in Etrade again? Or will these be moved to a Fidelity account and we will be notified accordingly?

They told everyone it would take 2-3 weeks from the date of acquisition.

I just got a mailed letter yesterday from Fidelity with my November RSUs.
Trade date 22 Nov, settlement date 1 Dec
"YOU VESTED 99 SHARES
33 SHARES WERE NETTED TO COVER YOUR TAX WITHHOLDING" ...

It is happening now. They said 2-3 weeks. We are still within 2-3 weeks.
