I ended up reaching out to BC HR multiple times and no response. I ended up leaving using the VM process and was under an impression that I wont be elegible for a severance. BC started reaching out for me to sign a release. (Not happening). I reached out over 20 times in the last 2 weeks, and now you want me to help you out!!
Looks like a lot of people were on the same position as me. One other thing that they are doing is giving people a new role on a different BU, and make them RTO. Again this is a very well known practice and the court system will have the final saying.
I presented my case to an attorney, and he clearly pointed out that large corporations tend to do this practice quite often. Im taking this on the legal route.
