NS hasn’t went back on any of her changes made due to PSR. They shut down lines and short lined in some places. They are running huge trains and have the same gripes we do. There isn’t any going back after the cuts. The railroads are making huge profits and are ran by hedge fund managers and investors who only care about short term profits. None of them worry about the long term viability of the companies, only short term profits so they can cash out…..rich people getting richer.
The stories ARE being told, but what is being done about it? The answer to that is nothing! The only time something will get done about anything is when they put a train in the dirt like NS did in Ohio. What's even more surprising is that the CEO of NS decided not to furlough any people, right along with other class ones. It could be just lip service to its employees, but it went against what the shareholders wanted. So why intentionally pi-s off your shareholders to please your employees? Simple, I think most people will agree that the NS CEO finally woke up and realized that PSR wasn't a great idea. PSR got started with Vena and Harrison. PSR will end with Vena. Like the title said, your stories are being told. The bigger question is who actually listening to them. The UP got in trouble with PSR, and then brought back the very a55 clown that started it all in the first place. So no one listened to the story of who started the problems in the first place.
Managers are fickle, they will fain enthusiasm for whatever keeps them from having to do any actual work.
Managers at UP don’t care. What are you a new hire?
