Is Kit Colbert still the lifeblood of VMware?

So without Kit Colbert and his snazzy socks, VMware wouldn't be where it is today. Well, by that I mean, where it was until Broadcom acquired it. Kit not only invented vMotion, vSAN, and was the genius behind Zimbra, it was Kit that taught me how to make great latte art of a swan.

Now, I know not all of you are fans of Kit, but he has a special place in my heart. I need to know if he also has a special place in the heart of Broadcom. If Hock Tan doesn't retain our CTO, then I will have no choice other than to leave VMware and join Google.

Seriously, if they make a reality TV show from this I will get so excited! There are 8 Kits in a Byte... come on Kit!
