VMW adopting US unlimited PTO

Has it been announced whether US based VMW employees is migrating to BCM unlimited PTO model?

How many days a year did you previously have?

VMW already had an UNL PTO policy for FT Exempt US employees. Pretty standard. From what I’ve gleaned from leadership it’s basically the same model we’ve always had.

Waiting to get paid out of the 270 PTO hours I have sitting in my PTO bank and move to salary. No more clock punching.

Limitations appear to just be a more detailed policy. VMware was just open about it. Get management approval and take leave. Broadcom's policy is a list of bullet points of "get management approval AND make sure all these are true".

Thx. I'm not aware of limitations or restrictions at BCM. I expect most people take 4w but never all at once. Most take 2w or 1w at a time.

There is no migration. It was the same.
The only minor change I see is that if you take off more than one month straight you need to take LWOP.

Actually there are more Broadcom limitations, which I won't post on a public site. But Broadcom's is more restrictive than VMware's.
