I'm struggling to understand the culture shock comment, VMware was a nasty place with awful culture. VMware acquired companies, went in changed logos in the off space at night, forced staff out of their offices into cr-ppy VMware offices and charged them per head to be in there. Incompetence and bullying was rife with sales dinosaurs doing wrong by products and customers. The only people complaining are those same dinosaurs that are not employable. Highly skilled people have left or will leave with confidence they will find better

As I was in the cafeteria today to grab something to eat, I was absolutely gobsmacked at how diverse we have become. And by that, I mean how NOT diverse the company is now.
It is so much a monoculture.
Do you reckon that the worshipers are the ones who are bound to a job by a work visa and think that being obsequious will serve them as well as under the previous leadership?

The voodoo doll won’t work because Hock has no soul. Rumor has it that when his first child was born he was going to leave it in the hospital due to the cost of raising a child and that it could not generate revenue for at least 18 years. His wife had to persuade him to keep it.

The only thing burning here is VMware jobs. It’s going to get a lot worse for the complaining VMware employees who didn’t get an offer. Than those that got an offer or can find a job else where don’t cry here lol.

Agreed. Not liking anything so far. Fearful for the future here. Too much of a culture shock for me.
