Australia - have any offers gone out?

Anyone received an offer in Australia? If no, does anyone know when we should expect them?

Now we’ve received the FT letters in Aus and passed the 3 calendar days deadline. Anyone knows what happens next and what will be our severance package like please? Someone mentioned below that they even differentiate package between states? Eg NSW vs. QLD, is this legal to treat people differently in same country?

Both of those are answered in the FAQ for Aus.

Leave is carried forward

If you decline the offer (must decline) you get severance. Problem is it does not specify what exactly and if it’s the same as what the others received or just the bare legal minimum. Also severance in NSW and VIC is different to QLD.

QLD was on OTE and apparently NSW is on base.

Does anyone from Australia team know if our unused VMW annual leave will be carried on with Broadcom? Also what happens if we decline the new FT offers? Will we be still open to severance package like redundancy or transitional roles? Or will we be treated as "resigned" from declining the new offer?

60 RSU's offered

That is an insult. I received four times that and I'm nothing. Do they want to close the Australia GEO? Is that their goal?

Got letter late last night (Tue 5th). No more car allowance, Private health. just over 60 RSU's offered over 4 years which doesn't make up the loss let alone provide any incentive to be 'invested in the success of the company'.

Both redundancy and transitional letters were out last Friday, still no news on FT offers and it’s midday Tuesday already. Hope it doesn’t take another week to know on the Friday night again

Some transition letters were sent out late on Friday night. Haven't heard of FTE offers going out.

I’ve seen a few people in AU posting redundancy yesterday/weekend so if you haven’t heard would indicate you might have an offer
