Thread regarding VMware layoffs

eTrade has not paid anyone correct cash value (partial shares cash still pending)

AVGO stock and total share conversion cash value is received by all now (after long delays).

BUT, the cash value for partial shares that were accepted for conversion, is still not deposited in Etrade.

Lets say 31 shares were submitted for conversion to AVGO and you received 7 shares.
Cash value related to 3 VMW shares (around 0.75 AVGO) is still with Etrade ?
It can be between 0.1 to 4 VMW depending on the rounding applicable in your case.

All of us are losing 10, 200 USD, 400 USD, 600 USD or 800 USD. Please check your accounts for missing cash related to partial AVGO.

And, RSUs are still missing for NOV and DEC.

There is a chance that most of vmw HR was given the boot. That’s why things are messed up. No one to handle anything

There is a sale transaction in Gains & Losses statement which shows partial AVGO shares sold at $0 value. When I called ETrade they had no idea this was showing in G&L. They said they are still working through everything. BC transfer agent is not providing them with all the info. They think these will iron out slowly in couple of days.

Essentially this is a legal issue, companies can’t make pay/tax wrong by employees. So let’s all keep emailing stock admin, HR etc. I’d give them another month to get this RSU transition completed correctly, if still wrong people could seek legal advice to request your pay gets rectified.

VMware should have given instructions on these but looks like they didn’t. Broadcom should do this but no one cares. E*trade is just a platform and cannot make decisions for the company. Please send to HR. I did more than once but no response. I hope more people with constantly contact HR to force them to look at this.
We are losing money
