I don't understand the comments regarding Broadcom. Remember, you have options and aren't obligated to work like a slave. Many overlook this crucial fact. It's your life, and you should choose what's best for you. Not everyone in EMEA, including myself, received a letter yet. Broadcom isn't the right fit for me, and I realize daily that my mental health suffers, especially with the prospect of returning to the office. When it hurts the most, it's the right time for a change. Don't let anyone belittle you. Explore new job opportunities, update your LinkedIn profile, or consider starting your own business with VMware colleagues or independently.

And, if you're feeling afraid just remember that Hock alienated the skilled talent at CA and Symantec and they decided to leave with dignity. You are not trapped here unless you assume the role of a victim who has no options. Don't let them break your spirit.

What I do not get is that NONE of what is happening should be a surprise. We were all on that initial call where executives were literally in shock and tearing up the day it was announced that the deal almost 2 years ago. We all saw BC's plans which showed their playbook. A quick google search showing what happens to companies they buy showed precisely how they do business. There were many of us who saw that, got the message and found other jobs. Everyone here had the same opportunity. I know it su-ks. That is why I left. But I am still amazed at the posts here: What? RTO? I am getting laid off? BC isn't a touchy feely place? Where have you people been for the past 2 years?
Your mindset seems to be lacking, evident from your brief comment. Adopting a victim mentality and waiting for others to help won't lead to success.
