Severance negotiation?

Is anyone attempting to negotiate the severance offer? Any success or tips? I did send a letter (ticket) to BC HR but I have not heard anything. I am assessing what to do when the time to sign the final release runs out. I welcome ideas!

You will get a choice, you take the enhanced severance they are offering, or if you don’t sign in time or reject you will get the minimum they have to give you by law (state / country)
They do not have to give you anything more than the state/country severance, so thinking you’ll be able to negotiate higher than they are providing is a dream, it won’t happen.

Play hardball op. Tell them you will not be signing until they 3 x it. Ignore all further communication from BC until after the deadline passes. Only after the deadline paases, you have the advantage. Tell them its now 5x. They will sign immediately.

"Everything is negotiable in business, especially if you have the guidance of an attorney. I've already been able to renegotiate my terms and conditions, with a little help from a lawyer that specializes in these negotiations. One of the best investments I've made."

This is total BS. It's negotiable if you have enough clout. That means that you are C Level. They are not going to negotiate with an average employee because then all of the other average employees would want the same. They know that you can't afford to sue BC. It would cost many $100,000s just to get started.
