So the latest rumors are that the hammer is going to fall on 2/2 with a major layoff again. If they know what is going to happen, why wait. Makes everyone anxious

I hear Wayfair used an algorithm, which included tenure, to get rid of people. It is very clear that Wayfair has no loyalty or commitment to it's employees . I was there for over 5 years and did an awesome job and even won a sales manager of the year award. They don't care. It's basically like "The Death Star" on Star Wars, you never know when someone is going to come along with a light saber to strike you down. And the lay offs have been happening every two weeks on payday, for months. It does not matter to the executives, I was just 1 of 36 this time. It's like Hunger Games, I was just 1 of 36 "Selected" in the Lottery this time that will enter the "Pageant" and compete until elimination. What a sad place Wayfair has become.

Do you know if they are offering severance or if you have an option to go to a different dept?

If you look at the street.com, you will see an article regarding bankruptcy percentages and Wayfair is at risk with a pretty good chance this will happen in Q1. With all the outsourcing to save money, salaries are a good way of showing savings too, so get ready

Yes, yes there is. If you aren’t near Athens or Boston be ready for your position to be impacted.

Doesn’t matter if you are an L1 or L4. Doesn’t matter your department either.

RTO even if you were hired remote and don’t live near an office…. Or you will be gone.

Who knows. Probably no Warren Act ones, but with the budget model they rolled out I wouldn’t be surprised if individual teams get pressured to reduce headcount to meet expectations.
