Typically VMware policy for redundancy was at least a month for each year of service. BC plan to only give uk folks one week for each year. Wish VMware made me redundant last year that way my 13yrs of service would have ended in better light. Thank you VMware and bc for pi----g on us in a big way. Hock what goes around comes around. Start practising walking on water as in he-l you will need that taken!!!

Even if hock fired me I’m not down that bad to be Wishing death on someone. I don’t know how down bad you are but it’s clearly showing. @OP, what's your source? has some manager shared that info with you, or you are just assuming that the severance will be reduced?

Nah I don't believe this one bit, it'll be similar to the US. It needs to be big and fat to get people to sign away any prospect of legal come back. Besides they agreed to honour VMware's severency package - which they have done in the US. The UK one similar.
And your source for this OP? No letters out yet and many rumours on what’s being ‘offered’ all at odds with each other. Not sure this is any more factual than the others

It'll be statutory in Ireland (2 weeks but capped & salary equivalent) if you turn down anything offered. It'll be decent redundancy if they tell you there is no role
