Thread regarding TransUnion layoffs

It’s sad….

It’s sad that Chris literally said that “it will be good for the company and help it grow”. Oh really? Good for who? It’s good for Chris and the stock holders. That’s about it. Don’t get me wrong, I am relieved and not stressed anymore but still feel horrible for how they did it. Especially being right before Christmas! Corporate America su-ks. We are all just a number.

While I was heartbroken in the immediate aftermath of getting RIFed Ive made peace with it and realize I am going to be much better off in the long run. Layoffs are a sad part of corporate America but there is right way to handle it and then there's the TU way.

There are still people traumatized by how HR cultivated abusive relationships with associates who submitted exceptions to continue WFH. Cartwright allowed HR to be rude and combative to people who legitimately worked from home since hire. That’s the first sad part of this mindskru because that decision kicked off the really disgusting attitudes we’re being forced to adopt if staying. Get out of TU before you become like them.

The mental trauma leadership inflicted going back to bullying people into RTO in October is worthy of professional examination. Bullying turned into gaslighting with CC’s last email. Monsters.
