In VMware I had a car allowance and I worked from home. Now, they suppressed my car allowance and I have to go to the office.

I am one that will lose their car allowance, I didn't ask for it, it was part of the package and so counted on it as part of my monthly income. However, I can cry about it, or I can work hard and accept I can pay be paid in other ways and possibly a lot more. Maybe we can see things that way. Or I can just as you leave. We are all given a choice.
“Car allowance” might be thing in Europe but here in the US it just makes me laugh.

Complaining about taking away our car allowance is not ridiculous! It was a huge part of our salary. Our base salaries are much lower than those in the US.
Let me guess...you work in Europe. No one should have a car allowance, even CEOs.
Just going to be a lot less work done in the office. Got to now go out side to take smoke breaks, chat with folks on the way to the bathroom. Lots of wandering around and chatting.
No after hours work happening either. EOD hits and it is out the door.
My start time is when I get in my car to drive to work right?
