Thread regarding VMware layoffs

“terminated on paid leave” status

Terminated VMw employee….and expected to be “reasonably available” on paid leave through Jan 26, when severance begins. What does this even mean when all access has been cut off??? Email communications to ‘employees’ in this bucket seems to be very disorganized - some folks receiving communications, while others get nothing. They had us signup for their customer portal HR Integration site with VMware aliases ….which got axed the day after termination!! Not impressed. Looming medical benefits sign-up and no way to access the Broadcom ex-employee information. What a cr-p show.

I'm also a terminated VMware employee. I received an email via my personal email account to sign up (reaunthenticate no longer using the VMware email address) using my personal email to access the Broadcom portal.

I'm having the same experience. No access to VMW benefits site. Called VMW IT and there was nothing they can do b/c I'm flagged as terminated. The Broadcom benefits VMW Microsite requires VPN login so that's not accessible. What a mess.
