I wonder if the SLT have thanked the team's working for 9 days in a row. I met the CISO at the red barn and wanted to buy him a coffee to thank him. He paid for mine and was so down to earth and so approachable. I looked him up on LinkedIn and his articles are like him, so open and direct. I had to follow him.
Clearly this was a ransom attack like the recent attack at MGM casinos in Vegas. The reason it’s taking so long to rectify is that Staples doesn’t have the money to pay.
You are really cold, if this was really was fake then I pity the security and infrastructure teams working to get this up.
Shame on you for not thinking and thanking the team's who are working F#&king hard to get this back up working. I have seen the CISO and his team working 24 hours to get this up.
I guess the MGM and Okta were fake too.
That’s one week to get everyone back in office. But then when would I be able to play my video games?
One week and still down with the last piece left to fix, the VPN. I call bullsh-t. They just finished firing people and forced existing managers to wear multiple hats a few weeks ago. Remote services are next on the chopping block, and that's why they're delaying the VPN.
Are you saying this is on purpose?
Interesting? I'd say well planned . They knew what they were doing
The saga continues - refill the popcorn please.
JL is delirious or doesn't care. I see the closure on the horizon. Sycamore is all about squeezing the most they can then throwing the companies to the wolves. All whilst sleeping well at night knowing they are financially sound. Who cares about ethics or trust value. Staples is like an ostrich with heads in the sand.
Karma for all of the lives and families they have destroyed during holiday layoff season year after year after year after year after year. Oh yeah they didn’t do it last year they peppered it throughout the year instead. Remember how JL was so proud to say no layoffs in Nov 2022. Guess that was to make up for the 2020 furlough of the entire org. So generous JL. May you reap what you sow.
