I wonder if there are people who refused FTE? I understand that conditions differ depending on the country, but I don't think I've heard of any actual examples yet.

declined the FTE offer.
However, one week after I declined, I still haven't heard anything.
If you have already declined the offer, how long did it take for you to receive a term offer?
If I quit before 12/31 my USA COBRA should be UHC. If I wait until 01/01, then it would be BComs insurance COBRA.
Does that sound correct?
I personally have turned down the FTE. I live in an extremely protected EU country in terms of labor, and they will have to provide a good severance package. I do not want to work at Broadcom even though I have not yet found another alternative. I prefer to invest in myself in the coming months and find a position within a year at a different company.
Not all FTE offers gave the severance option. I wish mine did.
Did all FTE offers (even after the ones that came after the close of acquisition) come with the option of severance?

Adding on to the previous post, those of us who rejected the offer didn’t want to be insensitive to folks who wanted an offer and didn’t get one so we’ve been laying low. I’m personally very happy I don’t have to live through the RTO and what’s to come next. I feel bad for my previous team.
I rejected the FTE offer. So did one of my colleagues. We were in Tanzu.
