Everyone in this looks like they are in pain from laughing so hard..... Or posing for photos.

Rumor was some of the people were brought up from San Jose to pose in Palo Alto. Psychological game folks and nice PR campaign. My bet half the room weren’t even employees!

Been in that room many times when we were changing the tech world, this looks like a Ted talk about depends underpants. Jokes on BC to give your dictater a platform. What a joke! Get in your car and get back in the office!

But the beautiful thing about all those smiles, they are all fake. That's the nature of BC. Bullsh-t.

Love how the comments are from BC Employees with praise, I guess their bonus structure is base on comments they make! LOL. Yeah that meeting was shocking to say the lease.

The audience is smiling like Hide the Pain Harold. 🤣

I also like how no one responds to the praising comments on the LinkedIn post, except for obligatory "like" reactions from someone in Broadcom management.

I saw this and thought the photos were fakes! This is it what I saw when watching the live stream of the talk, while at my little VMware desk late in the evening.

The worst part is the folks kissing up in the comments thread about how direct and honest he is. If that's the case, maybe they should show the sad and sick looking faces of those same folks when the talk was going on. Notice how the photos don't show him talking and the audience at the same time.

As a go forward employee, I greatly regret not taking the resign option and have the severance.

The level of toadying is off the scale. It would put the most obsequious of amphibians to shame.

It reflects how HT imagines the entire company feels about the acquisition. Will the coming talent exodus help him see reality?

Be kind, these poor folks just want a paycheck and will gladly clap and smile.

Not everyone is ready to look for a new role at a company with a solid growth plan. Managing the graceful decline at VMware might be interesting for some people. That's not appealing to me personally, but some employees might be very grateful for any job.

Don't be so judgmental. Some folks feel safe and secure when they're forced to comply.

They definitely fired all the cool people. :-) I know some of these people, a lot of people more talented than this (but perhaps less connected / visible) were laid off. But, life goes on. Hope they have fun at Broadcom.
