Slightly off-topic, but check out the movie, "The Company Men" with Ben Affleck, Tommy Lee Jones, and Kevin Costner. It's a story about some guys that dedicated their lives to their company and what they go through after getting laid off. This scenes in this movie are very common in corporate downsizing. Has a somewhat good ending. It has a 20th century vibe but is relatable to the common tech downsizing of today. If you want a double-header, then watch 'Margin Call' with Kevin Spacey, Jeremy Irons, Stanley Tucci, and Demi Moore. It's very good, too. A double-header to relate to during during layoff season.

Great pointers on those movies! I got to check Margin Call out. Definitely binged The Company Men when I got laid off the last time.
Also I want to point out with these executive notice calls, they all remind me of this scene from Succession:

Not sure if there are any Succession fans out there, highly recommended series!
