Teradud have been laying off mainly workers and rarely if any in the middle layer.

Is there a resemblance here?

That middle layer a company value, invest in, and depends on must have experience, knowledge, and so on. Our middle layer have no clue of what they are doing and so adopting McK approach will definitely accelerate the demise of this stinking place.

McK is a terrible organisation and to allow them to come into Teradata and lay off thousands of workers is UnAmerican. NC on day 2 into his job picked up the phone and called his buddies at McK and said "Um I fluked this job at teradata and before the find out I don't know anything I need you guys to put together a powerpoint strategy for me."

Most everyone (except many BODs) know McKinsey is total garbage.

However, in TDs recent layoff round, at least a few middle managers were let go.
