They didn’t waste any time with that…

Lol, Hock himself reviews badge-in spreadsheets worldwide.
Does he print them out on his dot matrix printer?
Seems like he needs to get out more.
Anyway, not the place for me. I like to word hard and deliver exceptional software. I don’t need cappuccino in the office or hugs or any fluffy BS stuff.
Broadcom isn’t the place to do that. It is the place where software goes to die and that is not the right fit for me.
I’ll find another job easily and simply move on.
Maybe one day I’ll read his obituary and sigh, oh yea that guy.
Sold the car during the pandemic. Don't have reliable transportation. Will need additional compensation for the time and gas and insurance that I will now need to get.
None of that is true. Still working from home on Dec 5. Out of sight out of mind. Boss works in another country, will never know.
They do now🫠

What about the scuxxttledboxxxs?
HT Seemed very interested in that proposition

Lol, Hock himself reviews badge-in spreadsheets worldwide. He will know, and your management chain will know shortly thereafter.

HT didn't do any afterschool activities when he was growing up obviously. He could care less that if people have to drive 35 miles to get home and not be able to pick up their kids from aftercare or take them to after-school activities. He does not care about work-life balance. All he is concerned with is getting his pocket fatter. This is America Huck, and wake up, it's about to be 2024 not 1964.
I no longer work there ( Because I got out as soon as I could after finding how nasty BC is) But this is ridiculous. It used to take me 1.5-2 hours to get to the office. Each way. What a waste of time. As soon as we were sent home during the pandemic we suddenly got a lot more done. Because we got up, had coffee and went to our desks versus getting up and spending over an hour in a car doing nothing productive. All the old fa-t execs demanding this should put their money where their mouths are and try commuting that far. None of them would think of doing that.
Its also a huge morale ki-ler. Nothing makes people not really want to work as much when they know there is a grueling commute waiting for them each way. BC is going to lose a lot of the top-brass talent pretty rapidly from just this alone.
Hello reporter. Thanks for asking. They are asking for everybody to move their house into the office and wfo 7 dys/wk. Every employee will also be required to visit HT's house to do errands at least once/yr.
- No specified number of days; assume full-time
- Must RTO no later than Dec. 4th
- US, Americas and APAC
- EMEA will receive a separate, subsequent communication
- Generally, 50 miles or less from a Broadcom office will require RTO
- If you moved far from your designated office during the pandemic, but didn't update your address in Workday, you need to work with your manager to get it updated, and it will require GM approval
I am an ex employee...so i didnt get the email.
How many days RTO in a week are they asking for ? 2 , 3 ?
Nobody should be surprised. Tom Krause made that clear on Day 1 after he took Citrix private, and this isn't gonna play out any differently. They were monitoring RTO over there pretty rigidly to make sure people were actually coming into the office if they were assigned to one.
I am an employee but I'm not a shareholder
LOL, if you're whinging this much because ETrade had a delay that they told you about long ago, imagine how people would read this.
Nothing wrong with posting honest criticism. But half baked whinges because you don't understand the complexities of a modern job are cannon fodder for TMZ.
Are you BC guys really that autistic or you're just showing off?
Hang on, let's double check Hock groupie logic displayed in this thread:
Hock's approach is genius and shareholders love him. VMware folks are just crybabies and the real world don't care.
But;
Don't post internal emails showing Hock's practices as stock price will drop if press writes about it.
Hmmmm
Employees are shareholders, and you're obviously not one.
Go away troll, trying to pry information for your own personal gain.
Oh nooo the stock price! The stock price will fall people! Think of the poor shareholders!
So backwards. His description of people in pajamas lying in bed were unheard of.
Someone please post the RTO email here. Nothing to fear its all anonymous. No one can figure put who shared here
Make fun of Broadcom all you want, but the more you give to the press (which is actively following this page), the more cr-p they write to lower our stock price.

FFS, do not post company confidential information to a public website for the Press to get their hands on.
@ehg+1pQGM1p is only being sarcastic. Post away on this clown show of a company.

Another way for BC to cut down their costs, it’s known that BC will make this official. HT is older than my parents so he wants people to work the same day as the 1950s. I wonder how many more years he’ll be in this position

For me it's 2.5hr drive - during rush hour easily 3 but still within the 50 mile radius ...
Deal breaker. I just will not drive 35 miles a day, each way, five days a week. Never again. Any company with this 18th century mentality is not worthy of my contribution.
say what!!!!
Say check your Broadcom.com email B!tch.
