Contacting E*Trade is easy and fast by using the EMPLOYEE STOCK PLAN contact # @ 800-838-0908. They informed me the transfer is targeted to occur this evening.

How are people supposed to contact broadcom if we left months or years ago. That’s a pathetic excuse. They should have sorted it out before agreeing the merger. They can’t just throw the blame around and not releasing the shares
I have been calling them every day and they keep telling “tonight”. Today they changed the tune. They are now saying it’s Broadcom who is holding the shares. The transfer agent is not submitting the shares. For Retail accounts it’s a different process so they all got it over the weekend. ETrade is now asking us to contact Broadcom.
So it’s Broadcom who is now holding it up because they don’t care about the employees or laid off people. We come last in priority. They obviously don’t want to sc--w up with retail investors. Probably they are afraid of a big sell off right before the earnings. Someone needs to sue them.
That statement didn't agree well
Nothing deposited last night…
I have been calling them from Monday. On Monday they said cash and stocks will be deposited on Mon night. Got cash no stocks. On Tue they said it will be deposited on Tue night. Nothing today. Today they say it will be deposited tonight. I don't believe them anymore.
Like someone said in other post, ETrade now does not care a sh-t about the VMW Stock Plan customers as Broadcom uses Fidelity. People who had moved their VMW share into their ETrade personal accounts already got AVGO stocks. I think they should be sued.

I think that's not right.
You have to wave your wand and say "avgo, avgo, avgo. Stockum presentum"
I’m f you say “Broadcom” three times fast, the shares will appear in front of you.
Just spoke with ETrade. No significant news expect she said "we don't know where the shares are" and did not mention they were going to be converted tonight like a couple of other posters noted. She mentioned something about VMw being their customer and not BC.... makes no sense. Not exactly instilling confidence in their platform. I had shares I bought independently at Chase. I had the money and the converted shares on Friday (24th). The stock has fallen 3% ($29 per share) since Friday when Chase converted the stock. Is ETrade going to offset that loss?
E*trade is pathetic, plan to move all my personal and stock plan accounts to another brokerage after the shares settle. I have been calling every day starting Monday and get a different story every day. They had a similar delay vs other brokerages when settling the VMW large special dividends a few years back.
Pathetic, you folks can think of money only?!
E*trade told me soon.
I just got off a call too, the agent said the plan is to deposit by tomorrow (so tonight) but he wasn’t sure because he knew it has been pushed back before. I hope it will be today though.
