Who the he-l decides who to let go? We have slackers on our team who could be laid off and we wouldn't even feel it. But these two folks are not them. Both of them will be missed and their absence will be felt. I'm not worried about them finding new positions, but I'm worried about what will happen to our team with them gone. We have id--ts in charge.

It doesn’t have to make sense, it’s corporate America, performance is the last thing that matters. Its who you know and blow and have pictures of that matters.
I’m so lost if you didn’t received the email today does that mean that your job is safe or we still don’t know what the heck is going to happen
There’s no point trying to speculate how it was decided. I’ve pour my heart and soul into every team I manage and the reaction to me getting a notice has been one of disbelief. I’m not trying to sound co--y but just that it’s obvious that the leaders who decided this didn’t think through the impacts or maybe they did and just don’t care. Anyway not my problem anymore.
