Thread regarding TransUnion layoffs

Not gonna lie

At least for me the severance is decent enough that I can chill for all of Dec and hopefully get one of the jobs I’ve been working on for a bit. I mean of course I’d rather not be laid off on the first place but based on what friends of mine had gone through at other places, this does provide a good bit of buffer.

I got an immediate last day. Then a separation day in February, so benefits covered until end of February (so 8 additional weeks). And then additional compensation equal to one week per year of service rounded down, plus additional compensation greater than years-of-service the total of which adds up to 26 weeks (which seems to be a max). And then money equivalent to cobra for n months as a lump sum. And assurance that I will also get a bonus.

If you don't mind, can you please tell your years of service and week of severance you got. Thanks in advance
