Thread regarding VMware layoffs

Etrade charged 38 x 2 dollars, but not deposited AVGO shares yet

Etrade charged 38 x 2 = 76 dollars, but no AVGO shares deposited yet.
VOLUNTARY REORG FEE VMW SHARES for 38 dollars.
CONTRA VMWARE, INC MANDATORY REORG FEE for 38 dollars.

AVGO has already dropped 6 percent from 1000 to 945.
Will AVGO or Etrade transfer my shares before Michael Dell sells ?

Other problems attracting lawsuits.
RSUs are tendered by the employer. The 38 dollar fees from Etrade should be borne by former employer VMware or new employer Broadcom, for the employee RSUs.

Broadcom owes interest for the cash payment delay of one month.

Also, VMware or Broadcom owe delayed fees for releasing November and possibly December RSUs to the employees on time. 18% annual interest based on value as of 1st November.

Not everyone but those who elected to receive avgo shares instead of cash, otherwise I think it would be all cash @142.5 each. But the avgo shares are still missing.

Clearing a doubt I had. So regardless of the election that was made, everyone receives 48% of Vmw shares at $142 and the rest in AVGO shares?

Yes, one of the 38 fees was reversed, still doesn’t make up for the wait for the avgo shares though. Totally agree, the communication is a joke, there is no communication whatsoever. And all involved here, etrade, vmw, bc, all are big players, shocking how they handle this!

Same here. Couple of reorg fees but no AVGO shares yet.
However, I do see a transaction CONTRA VMWARE, INC MANDATORY REORG FEE REVERSAL Fee Reversal where $38 is being credited back. Not really sure what is happening.
The lack of communication on timelines is surprising given the scrutiny this deal has gone through.

Yes agree, not everyone who owned vmw stocks have broadcom access to fidelity. And I don’t have the new stocks yet.

The odd thing about Broadcom not using Etrade is that every regular investor does not use Fidelity. If a regular investor not employed by VMware uses some other brokerage, it would be an interesting lawsuit to find out if they got their stock already.

I thought RSU’s will be handled in Fidelity, Broadcom doesn’t use Etrade.
