Thread regarding TransUnion layoffs

It’s not about production, it’s business.

That’s what I was told. After 20 years. This is not about production. Being laid off by a director who has no skills for that position and absolutely no personality and seeing who was kept mind boggling. Surprised we didn’t draw straws. HR is a complete joke. Make arrangements with challenger, gray and Christmas for resume and job help. Cobra at 2500$ month 1 week pay for amount of years. Oh thanks so that lump sum will be taxed.

All those bridge calls, late nights, late evening, sitting on BS standup meetings. Just taking time away from my family for this treatment, wow classy Chris and tech folks. My thought process through my 20 + years be the most productive get things done, communicate.

Sad yes 20 years a long time, but a sense of happiness and relief to be let go of this absolute he-l hole. This place has been absolute torture. For those holding on to that rope that fire being lit hold on or jump.

Mentally such a relief and can’t wait to start my next chapter. GCC and Neustar coming for those tech jobs. No wonder tech been on hiring freeze for 3 years. Sc-m bags.

I’m sorry to read this and wish you enormous success finding a new place that values your knowledge and professionalism. Venkat and especially Susan created a toxic culture in less than 2 years. Cartwright hasn’t the skill or experience to rollout layoffs like these alone. He’s a puppet for CTO and HR neither of which care for America as a country or its people. They’ll keep their US based job and US salary though! Hypocrites.
