I logged in to my etrade account. Under Accounts - Portfolios - Other Holdings, I see the amount which is the cash conversion from the election. It is available for Disbursement. Is anyone else seeing this?
I'm asking because in the FAQ of the acquisition, it says that this cash conversion will be deposited to our payroll.

Fill out Form 1040NR .. that is what IRS is pointing to.
Also the Broadcom holdings will appear under Fidelity - thats who Broadcom work with as their share registry
I got an mail from e trade early am today to say that X Amount withheld as withholding tax. I'm not based in USA, I'm in EU. Can we get that back or..... , does anyone know. Do not say ask internally.... There is no one to ask!!
It will take us in the UK many months to get the withdrawn tax back - ridiculous - I might phone eTrade and question this.
I had tax withheld on mine, which as a non-US citizen I should not have had.
the payroll was supposed to have handled the money originating from OPTIONS sale not CLASS A stocks that you apparently had.
Yes, I had 100K in VMW which disappeared completely for a couple of days. Now I have 20k in cash and 2 shares of AVGO - so still have a whole bunch missing. Be nice if there was any communication during this process.
There was NO tax withheld from this sale. Is it like this for everyone?
