If you’re on 6-12 month transition start looking for a job now so you have a good chance at having something ready for your termination date.

When the transition ends, I'm taking time off. I'm going to clear my head, get my strength back, travel and focus on some new areas that I'm excited about. If and when I come back to work again, I don't want just a "job". I want something I'm excited to do every day. Where I can get paid to learn and work on interesting things.
Also, they can shorten the transition period, so start to plan your exit ASAP.
Don't be caught off guard by an accelerated AVGO termination date.

Transition offers are just extended payroll, but in the end you will be laid off eventually. Accept them, but start interviewing asap, as the market is bad and it is not easy to land good gig
