Its pretty simple: If the employees are unhappy, no amount of leadership changes will get the dividends to the level you are expecting.

OP here. I almost added the pet insurance thing but you're missing the point. Ever since all this stuff went down, productivity has tanked. Ownership of tasks/roles/problems has disappeared, employees are mentally checked out and no one cares anymore if CCI fails. There is no incentive to work hard or go above and beyond to meet goals any longer. The amount of knowledge that crown is losing by having the majority of employees with one foot out the door is immeasurable. Meeting their lofty obligations to shareholders is only possible when you have employees who actually enjoy and care about their work. CCI will be fine in the end, but right now they are in a death spiral of unhappy employees on a sinking ship trying to meet impossible goals at the same time
