You mean breathe a sigh of relife when you do.
I'll pity those who are not RIF'd because the work environment and toxicity will be unconceiveable.
Let’s try not to speculate and make guesses. It only makes this situation worse. We have no idea who has been targeted or when. Everyone should be preparing as if they will get RIFed and breathe a sigh of relief if they don’t.
I would say developers, sysops, administrators, and engineers are going to be the primary targets.
Highly paid individuals that can be offshored for 1/10th the cost, albet at 1/20th the knowledge.
But TU only cares about short term stock inflation for a future buyout.
What part of tech are we thinking exactly? Developers?
