Did Dell select its own Chief AI officer? Those folks must be real smart people and very competent in algorithms and math too!

by the way, Jeff Boudreau has been chosen as Chief AI Officer of Dell. While he was at EMC Corp he was the joke of the town; he was the Destroyer of the Data General CLARiion storage array -> as a result of his Directorship so many good people left the midrange org and went to work for HP , Hitachi , IBM..

I was laid off. Got 2 offers within 2 months. NONE of them were due to Dell experience.
absolutely no one in the industry thinks Dell mgmt is good. So anyone who brings dell mgmt's politics , they arent chosen for the new jobs.

The other companies know what is happening at Dell_business level because they also speak to our customers.
Based on my experience I suggest, you cut your losses and pick up any stop-gap job while you figure out your own strengths.
Dont wallow in Dell's toxic environment. Life outside is much better. Trust in your own ability.
The bad mgrs destiny will end like black hole - swallowing their own kind.

Toxic He-l, My Soul is Dead
I realize this is a layoff page, and to those whose lives have been negatively impacted by layoffs so far, I am truly sorry.

With that said, working at Dell has become unbearable. I dread work to the point of tears every Sunday, almost every night, and have crippling depression all day on work days. Dell continues to make life harder and harder for its people, while forcing us to smile and gaslight us about how awesome of a company it is to work for. Unrealistic sales quotas, being asked to do 10 people's jobs, bad initiatives that make no sense, the list goes on and on. And with those unreasonable quotas in place to sc--w Sales out of pay, come the constant and crippling fear of job loss due to bad attainment, even though you know you are doing everything you can. Just a sad circumstance I am tired of being in and I know I am not alone.

They are posted to hide any negative older posts.
The only reason most of us are still around is we are waiting for a payoff.
Pretty simple.
