First RSU vesting for new VMW-> Broadcom employees on Dec 15?

The welcome letter stated that the vesting starts from the next month after the hiring month. There is quarterly vesting and one is coming on December 15. Will our first vest date be on December 15?

Wall Street analysts haven't mentioned the AVGO huge debt burden in a week. Maybe they just forgot. I'm Just kidding, of course. Let's see if any of the major firms downgrade AVGO, then we'll know what to expect in the coming weeks and months.

Michael Dell and Silver Lake are flush with cash. Must be nice to have an 'insider' view.

"Who are these ‘preferred shareholders’?"

If you have to ask this question, then you need not worry.

We've talked about the ownership transfer issue for more than 18 months now.

Who are these ‘preferred shareholders’?
We get our RSUs vested on Dec 15th too.

This gives the 'preferred shareholders' plenty of time to unload their shares before VMW employees. I was hoping that the gap wouldn't be so wide.

Damn, we could be negatively impacted by the delay to sell our RSU shares.

When symc was acquired, we were granted on the first date(Dec 15th), then started vesting. With that said everything is speculation until you accept your grant and see what the vesting dates are.

From the offer letter - "We expect that the RSUs will be granted on the first regularly scheduled RSU grant date that
occurs after the calendar month in which you start your employment with Broadcom, subject to your continued
employment with Broadcom through such regularly scheduled RSU grant date."

Readin this, I assume we get 6.25% RSUs vested on 12/15/2023.
