Thread regarding VMware layoffs

BCOM not using VMw EUC

They:
Okta
GSuite
ADP (real payroll not workday trash)
Oracle
CTXS

VMw:
WS1
MSFT/Outlook/Teams
Workday (SU-KS and anyone who likes workday, came to VMw from Workday; it’s complete garbage)
SFDC
Horizon

EUC is going PE.

Where are all the super quiet middle (Sr. Dir) management in NSBU and EUC? All nowhere to be found coz they not have a job and bad to begin with.

"EUC has to build an entire business and the next 6-12 months are going to be he-l for anyone staying in this BU."

Hopefully not with the same inept leadership team under Shankar. Changes at the top are the only way for a new PE owner to turn around this BU and extract cash value

BC needs to sell EUC to a PE as soon as possible. They are the biggest producers in terms of sale $$$, however their obsolete software has to be highly discounted. There is little to none NET NEW LOGOS and BC leadership has to remove a few sellers, but mainly front line managed and directors to justify the asking price to the PE. EUC has to build an entire business and the next 6-12 months are going to be he-l for anyone staying in this BU.

Okta is just used for Access to apps, all devices are managed by WS1.

“Not correct, BRCM use "some" WS1 but not sharing in what capacity due to this being internal tools. You will however know realy soon.“

Show the proof.

EUC = PE this coming week. Town hall to be setup by Shank/Robby. New org structure. Bad RDs and Sr. RDs aok around. Rob is reading this and needs to act.

"EUC letters are due to be going out over the next 2 weeks, depending on the country."

Yet another guess about what happens to all those anxious EUC employees waiting for someone to show them a little consideration. Did this guess also come from Rob Ruelas?

The question needs to be asked, why would Broadcom Software want to use legacy EUC software applications? Once the VMW IT organization is down-sized to the lean AVGO model there will be less staff to operate and manage complex apps like WS1 and Horizon.

I guess time will tell, for the same reason why Broadcom keep accumulating all the legacy software components.

Also, there's no incentive to have the burden of supporting older UEM and VDI software once the EUC BU has been spun-off to another PE company. So, it really doesn't matter.

All nowhere to be found coz they not have a job and bad to begin with.

They've actually been busy working, not freaking out about the layoffs going on in every other BU.

EUC letters are due to be going out over the next 2 weeks, depending on the country. We’ll then see how accurate (or not) your terribly worded sentence is. In the meantime, I’d suggest some lessons in grammar, as you’re not coming across as very intelligent
